This walk will visit a Northern Hardwood Seepage Forest, a diverse, elusive, and newly classified wetland natural community type in Vermont that benefits fish and wildlife and contributes to freshwater climate resilience.
Dan Farrell, Assistant Ecologist in the Wildlife Diversity Program, VT Department of Fish and Wildlife, will discuss identification of the type, environmental setting, and introduce plants typical of the type.
