William Boston Hull is the founder and CEO of Hull Forest Products, a sawmill and woodland management service in southern New England that produces over 10 million board feet of locally grown forest products annually.

A champion of working forests, Hull received the EPA’s Environmental Merit award for his role in organizing one of the largest private land protection projects ever undertaken in Massachusetts.  A longtime advocate for wood markets, Hull was most recently a principal in Russell Biomass, a biomass energy facility proposed to utilize low grade wood. Hull holds a degree in Forestry from the University of New Hampshire and is an active tree farmer as well as the proud parent of three children who work in the family business.  He serves on the board of advisors for the New England Forestry Foundation and is a past president of the Northern Loggers Association
